Red Velvet's Wendy has officially made her solo debut!

On April 5 KST, the SM Entertainment idol released her 1st solo album 'Like Water,' featuring title tracks "Like Water" and "When This Rain Stops."

"Like Water' is an acoustic pop ballad featuring Wendy's clear vocals, comparing existence to water and small raindrops gathering to form the sea to the joining of different fates, while "When This Rain Stops" is a slow-tempo piano ballad with lyrics that mirror Wendy's own experiences, offering a comforting message to the listener that reminds them that it is okay to take a break if you need to.

Meanwhile, Wendy celebrated the release of 'Like Water' with fans through a special VLIVE broadcast on Red Velvet's official channel, where she leaked a few spoilers and shared behind-the-scenes stories from making the album.
