Netizens are talking about a particular fancam from an online concert.
On January 1 KST, a fancam of aespa's Winter surfaced online, drawing much attention for its rather dubious sources.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, SMTOWN on New Year's Day held the 100% online concert 'Culture Humanity'. The situation thus called for a strictly artist-and-staff-only environment without a single in-person audience member. And yet, this fancam of Winter had been taken on the private set and uploaded for anyone to see.
Netizens who have encountered this video commented that the angles were "creepy," "stalkerish", and "completely out of line", since no fan should have been given entry. Many voiced the conjecture that the fansite had probably entered the premises secretly, undetected.
A few even hoped that this were "fake," since it would be too "scary" if it were true. Meanwhile, some also shared that certain fansites do "have access" to these areas, hence it is too quick to judge.
What are your thoughts?
Some comments include:
"I can't believe this. This is crazy."
"I'm actually scared. This is like stalker level sasaeng material."
"How is this even possible???"
"Please delete this. I don't care if it was legal on your end. This was a concert meant to take place online. It's correct that we are not supposed to see something like this. Please abide by the rules."
"Look at the angle from which it was shot. If this isn't stalking, I don't know what it is"
"Is this person a staff?"
"I'm almost praying that this is just a joke, something fake, and not real."
Nobody thought that this might be took by some staff member? The Online Concert was prerecorded hence that means that many staffs were on site for the recording and maybe some of them could have been a fan of the group too. Being part of a fandom while being part of the staff of any artist let these people have privileges like this one.
