
TVXQ has renewed their contract with SM Entertainment, reaffirming a strong and enduring relationship that has spanned over two decades since their debut in 2003. With this renewal, the group is set to embark on a new chapter of their career under the full support of SM.
U-Know Yunho expressed his feelings, saying, “It’s truly moving to continue our journey with SM, who’s been with us since debut. We’ll keep doing our best to present our best selves to fans who have always shown us unwavering love and support.” Changmin added, “It’s deeply meaningful to have been walking alongside SM for over 20 years. We look forward to shaping an even greater future together.”
SM also shared their excitement, stating, “We’re thrilled to continue working with TVXQ, true K-pop legends who’ve played a key role in building SM’s history. We will actively support Yunho and Changmin in all their ventures.”
As TVXQ marks their 22nd debut anniversary this year, they remain iconic figures in K-pop history with a catalog of hits including “Hug,” “Rising Sun,” “Mirotic,” “Keep Your Head Down,” and “Rebel.” Their influence has extended beyond music into acting, musicals, and variety shows, further solidifying their unique status in the industry.
The duo is also set to make history once again with their Tokyo Dome concerts on April 25th–27th, which will mark 33 shows at the venue and 92 total dome concerts across Japan, breaking their own record as the foreign artist with the most Tokyo Dome and nationwide dome performances in Japan.
With this renewed partnership, global fans are eager to see the next chapter TVXQ and SM will write together.
