BTS’s J-Hope continues to cement his legacy as a solo artist, with his latest single ‘MONA LISA’ debuting at No. 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated April 5th. With this, J-Hope ties Jungkook for the most entries on the Hot 100 by a solo K-pop artist, marking his seventh career appearance on the chart.
J-Hope first broke into the Hot 100 in 2019 with "Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)" at No. 81. Since then, he has steadily built his solo catalog with "MORE" (No. 82) and "Arson" (No. 96) from his debut solo album ‘Jack In The Box’, as well as 2023’s "on the street (with J. Cole)" which peaked at No. 60.
In 2024 alone, he has impressively landed three songs on the Hot 100: "LV Bag (feat. j-hope & Pharrell Williams)" (No. 83), "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)" (No. 66), and now "MONA LISA."
The song is also making waves globally. "MONA LISA" ranked No. 14 on the Global 200 and No. 9 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, marking J-Hope’s highest position ever and his first Top 10 on the latter. Additionally, the track debuted at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, underscoring his worldwide appeal.
Other BTS members are also maintaining strong solo momentum. Jimin’s "Who," from his upcoming second album "MUSE," charted at No. 45 on the Global 200 and No. 32 on the Global Excl. U.S. Meanwhile, Jungkook’s "Seven (feat. Latto)" remains on both charts, nearly nine months post-release.
