BTS member Jungkook has earned a 'Gold' certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for his hit single 'Seven.' The track surpassed 400,000 units sold in the UK, achieving BRIT Certified Gold status in the Singles category, making it the first-ever K-pop debut solo track to receive this honor.
BRIT Certified is an award based on album and single sales within the UK. Jungkook has previously received Silver certifications for five works—"Standing Next to You," "Seven," "3D," "Left and Right," and 'GOLDEN'—each surpassing 200,000 units sold. With this, he set a new record for the most Silver-certified singles by a K-pop solo artist.

Jungkook’s first solo album ‘GOLDEN’ also set a new milestone as the studio album by an Asian artist with the most Silver-certified tracks (three total) in the UK—"Standing Next to You," "Seven," and "3D." Additionally, ‘GOLDEN’ became the first K-pop solo album to receive a Silver certification in the BRIT Certified Albums category.
‘Seven’ debuted at No. 3 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, one of the world's two major pop charts alongside Billboard. It remained on the chart for 14 consecutive weeks, the longest run for a K-pop solo track. Jungkook also made history by charting four songs simultaneously ("Standing Next to You," "Seven," "3D," and "TOO MUCH") for two consecutive weeks on the UK Top 100.
Meanwhile, the official music video for ‘Seven’ recently surpassed 500 million views on YouTube.
