
There are just two more months until the global K-pop group BTS members will be fully discharged from their mandatory military service.
BTS members began enlisting for the mandatory service in December 2022, with Jin being the first to enlist, followed by J-Hope. By December 2023, all seven members were enlisted in the military, with Jimin and Jungkook enlisting simultaneously.
In South Korea, all able-bodied men must enlist in the mandatory military service and serve between 18 to 21 months, depending on the branch of the military. For non-active duty roles, such as social service workers, individuals are required to serve longer.
With BTS members enlisting between 2022 and 2023, all members are expected to be discharged by June 2025. With just two months left, fans express their excitement as they look forward to the group's reunion.
