SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Haunted Palace' has unveiled stills featuring actors Yook Sung Jae and Kim Ji Yeon (Bona), showcasing their dynamic chemistry.

On March 25, the production team of 'The Haunted Palace' (written by Yoon Soo Jeong, and directed by Yoon Seong Sik) released stills of Yook Sung Jae and Kim Ji Yeon, who share a complicated relationship in the drama. The photos capture the ever-changing bond between their characters, Yun Gap (played by Yook Sung Jae) and Yeo Ri (played by Kim Ji Yeon).

'The Haunted Palace' is a romance drama that unfolds as Yeo Ri, a shaman who rejects her fate, and her first love, Yun Gap, become entangled with the spirit Imugi, a giant serpent-like creature in Korean folklore. The two characters navigate their fate as they get involved with this Imugi, named Kang Cheol, who inhabits Yun Gap's body. They face off against a vengeful spirit seeking revenge on the royal family, causing their bodies and souls to become deeply intertwined.

Yook Sung Jae plays the role of Yun Gap, a gentle yet sharp young man who is possessed by the Imugi spirit, Kang Cheol. Kim Ji Yeon portrays Yeori, the granddaughter of a renowned shaman with powerful spiritual abilities, who rejects her fate as a shaman and instead lives as a glasses craftsman.

In the stills, Yun Gap and Yeo Ri share a tender moment, making eye contact in the street. Yun Gap, dressed in a lavender robe, gazes at Yeori with a warm expression, creating a sense of excitement. On the other hand, they also display the complicated emotions of their relationship as Yun Gap is seen snatching Yeo Ri's arm.

However, the following images depict a completely different atmosphere, showing the change after Kang Cheol possesses Yun Gap's body. Kang Cheol, now in Yun Gap's body, displays mischievous and mischievous expressions, showcasing a playful side that was previously absent.

Frustrated and at her breaking point, Yeo Ri is desperately trying to cover Kang Cheol's mouth, leading to a funny yet heartfelt moment as they continue to bicker while staying close to each other.

The production team shared, "Yook Sung Jae is playing a dual role, and he and Kim Ji Yeon create unique relationships that form an intricate romance. They perfectly portray a rare romance that shifts between innocent excitement and 'hate-love' chemistry. Watching the two couples, who appear identical but have entirely different dynamics, will be another fun aspect of 'The Haunted Palace."

Meanwhile, 'The Haunted Palace' is set to premiere in April.
