Actresses Lee Na Young and Jung Eun Chae are confirmed to star in the upcoming drama ‘Honor’, marking their first on-screen collaboration.
According to industry insiders on March 26th KST, the two actresses will lead ‘Honor’, a mystery thriller that follows three female lawyers navigating a powerful scandal from the past through a fierce “womance”-driven pursuit of truth. The series is a remake of a Swedish drama of the same name.
Lee Na Young plays Yoon Ra Young, a lawyer at L&J Law Firm who captivates the public with her eloquence and striking appearance. Haunted by memories from 20 years ago, she is a character layered with emotional complexity. This marks Lee’s return to television two years after the Wavve original ‘One Day Off’, and her first-ever role as a lawyer—raising expectations for a fresh transformation.
Jung Eun Chae takes on the role of Kang Shin Jae, the charismatic and commanding head of L&J Law Firm. As the leader of the trio, she stops at nothing to get what she wants. Having captivated audiences in last year’s period drama ‘Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born’, where she played a powerful and androgynous character, viewers are curious to see what fierce energy she will bring to ‘Honor’.
The show’s production team is finalizing the casting of the third female lead and plans to begin filming shortly. The broadcast channel and streaming platform are still under negotiation.
Lee Na Young debuted in 1998 as a commercial model and has since starred in hit dramas and films like ‘KAIST’, ‘Ruler of Your Own World’, ‘Ireland’, ‘Romance Is a Bonus Book’, and ‘Our Happy Time’, showcasing her versatility.
Jung Eun Chae debuted in 2010 with the film ‘Haunters’ and has gained acclaim for her nuanced performances in works such as ‘Nobody’s Daughter Haewon’, ‘The Guest’, ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’, and ‘Anna’. Her signature elegance and emotional depth continue to earn praise across genres.
