On March 20, Garoseoro Research Institute (HoverLab) revealed the identity of the former manager who leaked a private audio recording of the late Kim Sae Ron. The institute also disclosed a handwritten letter from late Kim Sae Ron’s mother, expressing her grief and frustration over the incident.

Garoseoro Research Institute initially planned to hold a press conference with late Kim Sae Ron's family to clarify the contents of the audio recording that was released yesterday by YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. However, the press conference was canceled due to Kim Sae Ron’s mother’s deteriorating health.

The manager responsible for leaking the recording has been identified as Kwak Tae Young, a former manager who previously appeared on a broadcast as Kim Ha Neul’s manager. Garoseoro Research Institute emphasized that recording and leaking such content without Kim Sae Ron’s consent constitutes a crime.

Regarding the statement from Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Garoseoro Research Institute commented, “At first, they denied that the photo was of Kim Soo Hyun, claiming it was just the back of a person. But now that they are filing a complaint, are they admitting it’s actually his photo? It’s ridiculous.”

The institute also claimed to possess evidence that could expose behind-the-scenes issues involving Seo Ye Ji and her agency, Gold Medalist.

Garoseoro Research Institute warned that YouTuber Lee Jin Ho could face immediate arrest for defaming the late Kim Sae Ron. They added that they are currently verifying the facts surrounding the audio recording, and if it turns out to be false, additional charges could be filed against Lee Jin Ho.

The institute also released a letter written by late Kim Sae Ron’s mother, in which she shared her deep sorrow and regret over her daughter’s passing:

“My beloved daughter Sae Ron, are you in a warm place? Are you no longer in pain? My head aches unbearably every day, and my chest feels tight. Winter is ending, and warm spring is coming, but my frozen heart refuses to thaw. I can’t throw away any of your things — your clothes, your belongings. I still hold onto your pajamas, unable to wash them because your scent remains on them.

You said that if you died, many people would come to see you — and they did. I realized that you lived a good life. It was comforting to see so many people who truly knew and loved you. You saw them all, right? I regret not being with you more, not protecting you during your last moments. It must have been terrifying for you.

I kept telling you not to do things, thinking it would protect you — don’t go out late, don’t drink, don’t post pictures online. I’m sorry, my dear. I thought restricting you was a way to protect you. Now people are telling me to explain myself, to clarify things. But all I want is an apology for turning you into a liar — and to prevent something like this from happening again.

People might not know the truth, but I know. The people who truly knew you know. I’m sorry, Sae Ron. I will try to let you go quietly now.”

Currently, late Kim Sae Ron’s family resides in a small house with the dog Kim Sae Ron had raised. They also keep the paintings she posted on Instagram during the airing of Kim Soo Hyun's drama 'Queen of Tears.' The paintings reflect Kim Sae Ron’s unstable emotional state. Her mother, who also has two other children, is currently in poor physical condition and struggles with mobility.

Garoseoro Research Institute stated that secondary harm is a clear crime in relation to YouTuber Lee Jin Ho's release of a recording regarding the late Kim Sae Ron, and that the Seodaemun Police Station should urgently arrest YouTuber Lee Jin Ho.
