Brave Entertainment has announced that their girl group, Candy Shop, which debuted in 2024, is set to make a comeback with a track sampling Sistar19’s hit song “Ma Boy.”
“Ma Boy” is written by Brave Brothers (born Kang Dong Cheol), who founded the label Brave Entertainment. Brave Brothers is also known as a prolific and well-acclaimed producer and songwriter, a certified juggernaut who has written many iconic songs for K-pop stars including Big Bang, Sistar, 4Minute, and AOA.
With members Hyolyn and Bora, Sistar19 is a sub-unit of the national girl group Sistar. “Ma Boy” is Sistar19’s first single, released in 2011. The neo-soul track with its catchy melody and romantic sentimentalities took the nation by storm. Coupled with its iconic dance move, the song further solidified Sistar’s status as one of the queens of K-pop.

Consisting of the members Soram, Sui, Sarang, and Julia (with Yuina on hiatus), Candy Shop’s new single is slated to release on March 18 on all major streaming platforms.
