Since the official announcement on February 7, various online communities and social media have been filled with discussion over NJZ. Particularly, many Korean netizens have gathered to share their thoughts on the group's new name.

While many fans were excited over NJZ's new activities, some netizens expressed they didn't like the new name. Korean netizens have been giving mixed reactions and commented:
