Various media outlets have confirmed that legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao will be joining 'Physical: Asia,' a spin-off of the popular Korean reality competition show 'Physical: 100.'
According to Netflix, 'Physical: Asia' brings the game to competitors across Asia, introducing a team-based game format. This means, that in 'Physical: Asia' an entire team would be eliminated if a team member is disqualified.
ABS CBN cited Netflix and reported, "Pacquiao, revered worldwide as the only boxer in history to acquire titles in eight weight divisions, brings his formidable talent and indomitable spirit to this team-based clash of champions."
Meanwhile, 'Physical: 100' brought together 100 fittest contestants from various athletic and physical disciplines to compete in extreme challenges. The contestants included bodybuilders, Olympic athletes, special forces soldiers, firefighters, wrestlers, and other fitness enthusiasts, all vying to prove who has the "perfect physique" and claim the ultimate cash prize.
The latest installment of the popular show 'Physical: Asia' is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Korean netizens and fans are already looking forward to the 'Physical: 100' spin-off and expressed, "Huh??"
