'Single's Inferno' has been one of the most talked about dating shows since its first season.
The Netflix original dating show differentiated itself by bringing single contestants together on a stranded island where they can focus on finding love. The contestants are brought to an island called Inferno and can only escape to paradise for a night after matching up with a partner of their liking.
The show was recognized for casting attractive young singles with new contestants introduced in the middle to stir up the atmosphere, keeping the show interesting.
However, the latest season, 'Single's Inferno 4' has been getting flak from viewers as many are saying the show lost its authenticity. Many pointed out that the contestants no longer seem genuine and are all on the show to gain popularity and recognition.
Korean netizens are even considering this season the worst and most boring season yet and criticized that some of the contestants are pretentious. These netizens criticized that, with the shows popularity, the contestants are focused on gaining fame rather than love.

The most popular female contestant… just looks tired and drowsy all the time, constantly saying, ‘I’m confused, I don’t know, I’m just following my heart.’ She keeps repeating the same thing, and there’s no deep conversation, which is frustrating."
"Half of the cast looks like they’re just lifeless fish like they just want to get this over with and go home. In this last episode, Tae Hwan was legendary. Even Dex and Hanhae were shocked.
