On the morning of February 11th(KST), Management RUN announced, "Our artist Jinyoung has been selected as the main MC for the 32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024. (Hanteo Music Awards (HMA) is an annual South Korean music awards ceremony organized by Hanteo Global.) As a singer, actor, and producer, Jinyoung has been making his mark across various fields, and fans can look forward to his hosting skills at this K-pop festival."

Jinyoung has captivated K-pop fans with his unique sentimental and lyrical musical style. His compositions, including Oh My Girl’s ‘Step by Step’, the mission song ‘In the Same Place’ from Mnet’s audition program ‘Produce 101’, and I.O.I’s ‘When the Cherry Blossoms Fade’, continue to be beloved by listeners.

Beyond music, Jinyoung has also established a solid career as an actor. Following his well-received performances in Netflix’s ‘Sweet Home’ seasons 2 and 3, as well as the recently concluded KBS2 drama ‘Suspicious Her’, he has earned praise for his stable acting skills. 

Up next, he is set to meet audiences in the upcoming film ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’, premiering on February 21st, where he plays the lead role of Gu Jin Woo, portraying a nostalgic first love from the past.
