Former After School and Orange Caramel member Lizzy (Park Soo Young) is officially returning to the spotlight after a lengthy hiatus.
On April 21st KST, Lizzy announced via social media that she will be holding her first-ever solo fan meeting in Japan. “I’m finally having a solo fan meeting—my first one—and it’s happening in Japan, a place full of memories for me,” she wrote. “It took a lot of thinking to get to this point. Even if not many people come, I’m just thankful to those who do, and I’ll enjoy it with them.”
The fan meeting will take place on May 17th and 18th. Tickets will go on sale on April 25th at 7 p.m. (JST). Lizzy added, “I’ll see you soon in Tokyo!”
Lizzy debuted in 2010 as a member of After School, and gained further fame through the unit group Orange Caramel alongside Nana and Raina. She later transitioned into acting, appearing in various TV shows and dramas.
However, in 2021, she was involved in a DUI incident that resulted in a rear-end collision. At the time, her blood alcohol level exceeded 0.08%, leading to a revoked license and a 15 million won fine. Following the incident, Lizzy stepped back from public activities.
Now, after a period of self-reflection, she is cautiously resuming her career. Recently, she ranked first on a TikTok live and revealed that she has signed with Clover Universe Entertainment.
