Song Hye Kyo's 'Dark Nuns' (directed by Kwon Hyuk Jae) has surpassed 1 million viewers within six days of its release.
According to the integrated computer network for movie tickets on the 29th, 'Dark Nuns' officially reached the 1 million viewer milestone.
Additionally, the film dominated the box office for five consecutive days from January 24th to 28th. In Indonesia, where it was released simultaneously, it attracted a cumulative audience of approximately 569,690 viewers, setting the highest record for a Korean movie in the country during its first five days of release.
'Dark Nuns' follows the story of a group of people who participate in a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.
The film has received strong audience reactions, particularly for its gripping, unpredictable storyline and the compelling struggles of determined characters fighting to save Hee Jun (played by Moon Woo Jin) from demonic possession.
