Kwon Sang Woo, Jung Jun Ho, and Lee Yi Kyung have returned for the premiere of 'Hitman: Agent Jun 2'.
The sequel film arrives 5 years after the original 'Hitman: Agent Jun' (2020), which followed the story of a retired hitman for South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS) and his quest toward becoming a successful webtoon artist. In the sequel, Jun has achieved his dream of becoming a hit webtoon artist, only to find out that the crimes committed in his webtoon are being committed in real life by a mysterious terrorist. Kwon Sang Woo will have moviegoers rolling in laughter once again as the main character Jun, joined by Jung Jun Ho, Lee Yi Kyung, Hwang Woo Seul Hye, and a newcomer to the 'Hitman' franchise, Kim Sung Oh.
Like the original film, 'Hitman: Agent Jun 2' will combine real-life and animated elements to heighten its storytelling effects. Moviegoers can expect double the action, double the laughs, and double the budget(?) in 'Hitman: Agent Jun 2', premiering in theaters across South Korea on January 22 KST.
