F.T. ISLAND’s Lee Hongki shares recent updates.

On November 11th KST, Lee Hongki posted on his social media, saying, “I’m building my strength for performances, for golf, and also trying to manage my weight by adding more muscle and increasing my drive distance,” showing his dedication to exercise.

Just the day before, he shared another post saying, “With today’s concert in Macau, FTISLAND’s Pulse has come to an end. I kept saying ‘thank you’ over and over, but I truly mean it. It was a happy, warm, and fun memory. Let’s meet again and have fun,” along with photos with fans from the performance.

Together with fellow member Lee Jaejin, Lee Hongki completed the '2024 FTISLAND Live Pulse in Asia' tour. However, during the tour, the group faced challenges due to member Choi Minhwan’s involvement in a scandal related to alleged visits to an adult entertainment establishment. As a result, Minhwan played from behind the stage rather than appearing publicly on stage.

Afterward, FTISLAND decided to proceed with the tour and future schedules as a two-member group, without Minhwan. During this time, Lee Hongki caught attention with comments that seemed to show support for Minhwan.

Meanwhile, Minhwan is currently undergoing a divorce process with his wife, former LABOUM member Yulhee, who shared a recording on her YouTube channel that allegedly suggests Minhwan’s involvement in the scandal.

The police have begun a preliminary investigation into Minhwan for potential violations of the Anti-Prostitution Act.
