Throughout November, ZICO plans to dominate digital content platforms. First up, on November 12th at 7 p.m., he will appear on Dingo music’s YouTube channel for their signature content, 'Killing Verse'. The channel raised anticipation on November 8th by releasing a preview of ZICO’s OMZ Freestyle live performance.
Killing Verse features artists from various genres performing medleys of their hit songs. In 2019, ZICO performed eight tracks live on the show, amassing over 11.88 million views as of November 12th at 8 a.m. The video sparked a “petition” for his return in the comments section, reflecting enduring love from fans. News of ZICO’s return has heightened excitement among music fans.
On November 14th at 6 p.m., ZICO will release "The 1st Zico Shareholders’ Meeting" on the YouTube channel Df. This web entertainment show was specially created to celebrate his 10th solo anniversary. The teaser, released on November 11th, featured a lineup that resembled an awards show, drawing attention. Hosted by comedian Lee Yong Jin, the show includes appearances by Taewoon, Sunmi, D.O., Jeon So Yeon, Block B, and BOYNEXTDOOR, showcasing ZICO’s close connections.
Despite being billed as “an event solely for ZICO,” the teaser shows him caught off guard by the “spicy” commentary from friends, building intrigue for the main episode.
ZICO had already hinted that he would make November his “month” to commemorate his 10th solo anniversary. Alongside Killing Verse and The 1st Zico Shareholders’ Meeting, he has several other appearances lined up through the end of the month. Known for both his musical prowess and his humor, fans eagerly await his diverse performances.
Meanwhile, Zico will hold a solo concert, Zico Live: Join the Parade, on November 23-24 KST at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Tickets for all shows sold out within 10 minutes of their release on October 24.
