Junsu to appear on ‘Radio Star’.
On September 11th KST, multiple broadcast insiders confirmed that Junsu will be participating in the recording of MBC’s ‘Radio Star’ on the 18th.
This variety show appearance holds particular significance for Junsu. Though he has been highly active in the musical theater scene, his presence on television has been rare. While he has appeared on cable channels, it took him 15 years to make his way back to a terrestrial variety show.
After breaking his 15-year absence from TV show with his appearance on KBS 2TV’s "The Return of Superman" in April, and with an upcoming appearance on MBC’s ‘Half-star Hotel In Lost Island’ set for the 16th, Junsu is now taking on a talk show challenge.
This will mark his debut appearance on ‘Radio Star.’ He will be joining comedian Lee Chang Ho and dancer Gabee, both of whom are popular on YouTube, promising an episode filled with unexpected wit.
Junsu is currently celebrating a meaningful 20th anniversary since his debut, balancing a busy schedule. He returned to his roots with a solo concert in April, released the single “The 21st Season Will Wait for You” in June, and starred in the musical "Dracula".
The remainder of 2024 is also packed. Junsu is set to hold a joint concert with "Jaejoong" at KSPO Dome from November 8th to 10th, and will star in the Korean premiere of the musical Aladdin, opening on November 22nd, heightening anticipation for his portrayal of "Aladdin".
