INB100 announced their plans to take strong legal action against malicious rumors concerning labelmate Baekhyun.
On September 10, INB100 released a statement announcing the label have already begun the process of taking legal action against malicious rumors, and they plan to file lawsuits.
The label's announcement is as follows:
"Hello, This is INB100.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the fans who always show great love and support for Baekhyun, an artist under INB100. Thanks to this love, Baekhyun has been able to continue his successful activities with his recently released mini album, 'Hello, World'.
However, it is unfortunate that malicious defamation, dissemination of false information, insults, and mockery targeting Baekhyun have been continuously and indiscriminately spread through online communities, portal sites, social media, and YouTube.
We have taken steps to track the IP addresses with the help of specialized agencies and are already taking strong legal action against some of the offenders. We will continue to file lawsuits and emphasize that we will not issue any warnings, leniency, or settlements during this process, but will pursue strict legal measures.
We would like to remind everyone that publicly disseminating false information to defame someone's honor or publicly defaming someone with the intent to harm their reputation through information and communication networks is a clear illegal act and subject to strong legal action.
We will continue to do our utmost to protect our artists. Thank you."
