On July 5, actor Wi Ha Joon attended a roundtable interview in light of the conclusion of his tvN drama, 'The Midnight Romance in Hagwon'. 

During this interview, the topic of Wi Ja Joon's selca controversy(?) was mentioned. Previously, many fans jokingly criticized Wi Ha Joon's old selcas on Instagram, commenting, "He has no interest in making them turn out good", "Someone confiscate his phone right now", and more. 

In response, Wi Ha Joon commented, "I was really shocked. A lot of people around me have been telling me that I'm terrible at taking selcas. I saw the reactions online as well. They literally said, 'Confiscate his phone'. But honestly, I thought they turned out alright!"

He then added on, "After that, I stopped taking selcas. Nowadays, I ask my friends to take 'boyfriend pics'. But because it's my friends taking them, you can tell in my expressions. They were reluctant to take them at first, but I told them, 'It's for my fans'. They complain less now that they're used to it. But I'll try to take more selcas again and share them."
