According to media outlet reports, HyunA has cancelled her 2024 North American tour, 'My Attitude'.
Previously, in light of the release of her 9th mini album 'Attitude' in May of this year, HyunA announced a North American tour in August with stops in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, and more.
However, as of July 19 KST, most of the stops for HyunA's tour have been cancelled according to Ticketmaster. All promotional materials for the singer's tour have been additionally deleted from YouTube and SNS.
One overseas media outlet claimed that the tour's cancellation was caused by low ticket sales, fueling various speculations. Netizens both in Korea and overseas are pointing to HyunA's recent marriage news as a factor, speculating that her relationship with former Highlight member Yong Junhyung has "tarnished her image".
Meanwhile, HyunA publicly admitted to her relationship with Yong Junhyung in January of this year. Six months later, in June, the two stars confirmed news of their marriage, with a wedding ceremony to be held some time in October of this year. Yong Junhyung, who was called in for a police investigation in 2019 as a recipient of illegal footage filmed by Jung Joon Young, left his group and halted his activities until 2023, when he returned to music as a solo artist.
In other news, HyunA was also seen deleting all SNS posts featuring her ex-boyfriend Dawn as of July 19 KST.
