CRAVITY’s agency has issued an apology regarding claims that a security guard assaulted an individual, resulting in a concussion.
On July 22, Starship Entertainment released an official statement on their fan cafe, expressing their regret: "We deeply apologize to the victims and fans for the inappropriate actions of a security guard on duty at the airport when CRAVITY returned from their performance and promotions in Japan on June 23."
They added, "As soon as we became aware of the incident, we terminated our cooperation with the security company responsible for CRAVITY's on-site security. Additionally, we have established new security protocols and training procedures to prevent such incidents in the future, ensuring the safety of both fans and artists."
Earlier that day, a minor identified as 'A' claimed on X (formerly Twitter), "On June 23, while CRAVITY was arriving at Gimpo Airport, a security guard hit my head. Even after I tried to escape, the security guard continued to assault and mock me, as if to say 'go ahead'." 'A' stated that they were diagnosed with a concussion at the hospital and announced their intention to report the security company to the police.
