On this week's episode of 'Pinggyego (Just an Excuse)', actor Lee Jung Jae appeared as a guest to promote his Disney+ original series, 'Star Wars: The Acolyte'.
On this episode, Lee Jung Jae demonstrated his real-life friend vibes with 'Pinggyego' host Yoo Jae Suk, a good friend of 30-years. When guest MC Yang Se Chan asked how the two became friends, Lee Jung Jae and Yoo Jae Suk revealed that they served in the same military base for their mandatory service.
While chatting comfortably about various topics, Yoo Jae Suk mentioned that Lee Jung Jae tends to be generous to his acquaintances. The host then remarked, "Oh, and the other day too. Jennie sent me something really nice from 'Gentle Monster'. Jennie, thanks so much. Naeun (Yoo Jae Suk's daughter) loves it so much."
Yoo Jae Suk then turned to Yang Se Chan and asked, "Did you get one [from Jennie]?", and Yang Se Chan replied, "I did." The host then began to explain to Lee Jung Jae what they were talking about, but Lee Jung Jae said, "I got one too. A big box about this big." Confused for a moment, Yoo Jae Suk asked, "From who?", to which Lee Jung Jae smiled and responded, "From Jennie."
It seemed that both Yoo Jae Suk and Yang Se Chan were quite surprised upon hearing that Lee Jung Jae was acquainted with Jennie, as Yang Se Chan commented, "How are you acquainted..? Well, of course you're acquainted! You're both global stars!"
After a moment, Yang Se Chan enthusiastically said, "This means I'm in the same crowd as the global stars." Hearing this, Yoo Jae Suk pointed to the three of them and then stated, "We are in the Jennie-line. Thank you, Jennie!"
