Kang Hyung Wook, CEO of Bodeum Company, finds himself embroiled in controversy over the alleged mistreatment of his employees. Despite the public outcry, the dog trainer remains silent, prompting frustrated individuals to seek clarification by flooding his Instagram with comments.

Coinciding with the day the revelations emerged, on May 18, Kang Hyung Wook shared a group photo with participants of the 'Dang Dang Trekking' dog trekking event. As of 3 PM on May 22, his latest post has garnered over 2,200 comments.

This surge, roughly seven times more than the previous post's 351 comments, reflects the mounting frustration among the public regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding Kang Hyung Wook.

Users left comments demanding clarification, such as "Is the Job Planet rating for Bodeum Company real?" "If you don't clarify, there will be more speculations and allegations. Why don't you clarify?" and "Bodeum Company, please explain."

On May 18, dog trainer Kang Hyung Wook was accused of mistreating and abusing his employees. The controversy began when a job rating website review of Kang Hyung Wook's company, Bodeum Company, was posted on the popular online communities TheQoo and Nate Pann.

In these reviews, an employee, A, rated the company 1 out of 5 stars, criticizing it as "run by narcissists" and alleging that the couple (Kang Hyung Wook and his wife) actively fostered discord among employees. They wrote, "He doesn't want to see his employee become successful," and "He and his wife always create discord and gossip among the employees."

Starting with this post, numerous employees have come forward to expose Kang Hyung Wook's alleged mistreatment of his employees. He has been accused of verbally abusing the employees, with some also claiming that he would throw items at the employees out of frustration. Yet, for five days, there has been no official response, leaving the public increasingly frustrated.

Meanwhile, Bodeum Company, established in 2014, specializes in dog training services. It has announced that the company would permanently stop training services due to internal reasons starting from June 30 next month.

It sounds like he and his wife are in dire need of training, not the dogs. How to be a decent human being would be a good start, it seems they lack even the basic requirements to be one.

This doesn't surprise me. Behind the shiny facade of Kpop and Samsung, South Korea is kind of a capitalist dystopia where ordinary workers have weakened rights and are exploited and mistreated by companies. A documentary on youtube called 'Gwarosa: Working to Death in South Korea' opened my eyes to it.
