JTBC has joined hands with Studio Slam and Studio SLL to launch a massive scale boy group audition program which promises to begin with the "largest number of contestants ever seen" on an idol audition show.
'Project 7', coming to viewers some time in the second half of 2024, takes on the unique concept of an 'Assembly-Upgrade Idol Audition'. During each round, viewers are given the opportunity to select contestants and assemble different teams, which will compete against one another. Viewers will directly participate in upgrading their favorite teams and contestants as well, showcasing a creative, game-like format.
The program will be headed by Studio Slam, the masterminds behind JTBC variety programs like 'Sugar Man', 'Sing Again', and 'Peak Time', in partnership with Studio SLL, which plans on providing funding and support for the winning idol group's debut promotions.
Currently, 'Project 7' is recruiting contestants for the massive-scale program. All males, regardless of age, ethnicity, nationality, citizenship, trainee status, experience, etc can audition, including those who wish to form teams and audition as a team as well as those with prior debut experience.
What do you think of the concept behind JTBC's upcoming new audition show, 'Project 7'?
Too many audition programms.... however... I loved Peak Team and the same people are doing this one. So I am a bit curious.
