Prosecution seeks a 4 year prison sentence for the sister-in-law who distributed sex videos and blackmailed Hwang Ui Jo

The prosecution has demanded a 4-year prison sentence for Hwang Ui Jo's sister-in-law, who is accused of both distributing his sex videos and blackmailing the soccer player.

According to a report by News1, the 31st Criminal Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court held a trial on February 28 for Hwang Ui Jo's sister-in-law, where the prosecution recommended a four-year prison term. The charge was based on her violation of the Act on the Punishment of Specific Crimes, specifically for making retaliatory threats.

During her final statement, the accused expressed significant remorse, stating, "I have caused great harm to the victims and am deeply sorry."

Despite an appeal lodged by Hwang Ui Jo against the proposed sentence for his sister-in-law, there has been a strong push from a female victim in the sex videos to impose a more severe penalty on the defendant.

The attorney for the female victim emphasized that a four-year sentence is too short, declaring, "A 4-year sentence is insufficient. There will be no settlement."

The court has scheduled a sentencing hearing for the sister-in-law on March 14.

This case traces back to last June when the sister-in-law purported to be a former lover of Hwang Ui Jo. She proceeded to disseminate photos and videos involving Hwang Ui Jo and other women across social media platforms. In addition to these actions, she is also accused of attempting to extort Hwang Ui Jo using the aforementioned videos.

After the videos were circulated and the subsequent investigation, it was revealed that the perpetrator was Hwang Ui Jo's sister-in-law. On February 21, she confessed to her crimes and claimed that she wanted to teach Hwang Ui Jo a lesson.

Last year, Hwang Ui Jo was suspended from the national team by the Korean Football Association due to the 'illegal sexual video recording' controversy.

She deserves prison time for ruining people’s lives. It seems as though she was jealous of his success.

Four years for blackmail and spreading these videos on the internet doesn't seem nearly long enough. She also committed burglary according to another article on here, she seems like a thoroughly nasty person who should be locked up for a very long time.

.

I expect he's been got at by his parents and brother, but I'm with the female victim in this, her life has been ruined as well, and it's just as valuable as his, I hope the judge makes it longer.
