Viewers buzzing over the highly-anticipated Finale of 'My Demon'

AKP STAFF

Attention is being focused on whether Do Do Hee (played by Kim Yoo Jung) and Jung Gu Won (Played by Song Kang) will accept their heart-wrenching fate.

Anticipation and interest are focusing on the drama 'My Demon' as it nears the end of the series.

'My Demon' is a 16-episode drama and is now only two episodes away from its finale. In the pre-release video for Episode 15, unveiled on January 19, it revealed the heartbreaking struggles of Do Do Hee and Gu Won after their separation, evoking emotions of sympathy.

In the previous broadcast, the secret of Do Do Hee's parents entangled with Gu Won was revealed. Do Do Hee was shocked to learn that her father (played by Kim Young Jae) was the 'demon' Gu Won's contractor.

Ultimately, after accepting his own nature and destiny as a 'demon,' Gu Won announced his separation from Do Do Hee and was shown organizing his surroundings.

The finale of 'My Demon' has generated a wave of excitement among viewers, with many speculating whether the drama's closing episodes will align with the manhwa (comic) storyline.

Interestingly, 'My Demon' stands as an original creation, not derived from any pre-existing source material. The drama is the brainchild of Choi Ah Il, the talented writer known for 'Mr. Queen,' and was produced from an original script.

Contrary to what some may believe, the manhwa version of 'My Demon' is not the original work but was developed as promotional content parallel to the drama's broadcast.

Meanwhile, the final episode of the SBS drama 'My Demon' will air on January 20 at 10 PM KST. The drama is also available for streaming on 'Wavve' and 'Netflix.'

Surprisingly, given how emotionless this was at the start, and the lack of chemistry between the stars, who seem to have been cast for their looks alone (I have to admit they're a stunning looking pair) I ended up in tears watching this one. I never get emotionally involved, but they portrayed the heartbreak so well, I found my eyes leaking in sympathy. At some point during the series they dialed up the emotion to 11/10. Can't wait for the episode tomorrow.
