WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon recently shared an update about receiving a commendation while serving in the military.

On January 18, Kang Seung Yoon took to his Instagram account to post a photo of himself proudly holding a commendation he received during his military service. In the snapshot, Kang Seung Yoon, clad in military uniform, exuded a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Having enlisted on June 20 last year, Kang Seung Yoon has not only dutifully fulfilled his national defense responsibilities but has also engaged in various noteworthy activities, capturing the attention of many.

During his training period, he entered a training camp where BTS's Jin served as an instructor, showcasing a camaraderie with both juniors and seniors. He shared insights into his military journey, mentioning, "I'm doing well, participating in various activities, including shooting practice, and even excelling in marksmanship since my training days."

Beyond his military duties, Kang Seung Yoon has actively participated in charitable endeavors, contributing to aid efforts for flood victims. His commitment to excellence extends to receiving awards for outstanding trainees, as well as excelling in activities such as reading and writing essays, and a 100-day contest.

Certifying his exemplary military service, Kang Seung Yoon's photo radiates a relaxed smile and a dignified posture.

In a November update, he shared, "I'm keeping busy, even taking on barber duties." Come December, he announced, "I'll be promoted early, becoming a sergeant next month, so I'll greet the new year as Sergeant Kang."

Expressing his passion for his main profession, he added, "I'm planning to write some songs even within the unit. My goal this year is to create more than 10 songs," sparking heightened anticipation among his fans.

Meanwhile, other members of WINNER, Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon, have successfully completed their military service, while Song Mino is currently serving in alternative military service. Kang Seung Yoon, the final member of WINNER to enlist, is scheduled to be discharged on December 19, 2024.
