BTS member Jin has been selected as the star who is expected to stand out the most in 2024.

On the 8th, Idol Chart announced, "In the survey 'Which star will stand out the most in the new year 2024?' conducted from the 1st to the 7th, Jin secured the first place by obtaining 69,376 votes out of a total of 167,140 votes (approximately 42% voting rate).

"Lee Byeong-chan took the second place with 67,657 votes (about 40% voting rate). The ranking was followed by Lee Solomon (17,654 votes), Ahn Sung-hoon (4,136 votes), Kim Hee-jae (1,860 votes), Ha Sung-woon (1,829 votes), Sung Si-kyung (978 votes), Kang Daniel (954 votes), (G)I-DLE (533 votes), Kim Ki-tae (516 votes), BLACKPINK (403 votes), NewJeans (396 votes), Lee Seung-yoon (208 votes), ENHYPEN (173 votes), LE SSERAFIM (163 votes), SEVENTEEN (130 votes), aespa (90 votes), DAY6 (70 votes), and Kim Woo-seok (14 votes).

The results of the survey can be checked in the 'POLL' section of Idol Chart. Currently, a survey is underway with the topic '“2024 Gapjin Year”, Which star will rank 1st in search rankings?'

Meanwhile, BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) began their military hiatus on December 12th last year as all members are fulfilling their military duties, and they plan to resume their full group activities in 2025 after all members have completed their service.Among the BTS members, Jin, who was the first to enlist and is serving as an army instructor, is due to be discharged this coming June.
