Big Planet Made Entertainment is enhancing its content capabilities by bringing in talent from SM C&C.

On December 5, the company announced the appointment of Kim Dong Jun as its CEO. They emphasized, "Our focus is on advancing MC management and expanding our content offerings."

CEO Kim Dong Jun is a prominent figure in MC management and content expertise within the country. He previously held roles such as the head of the SM C&M MC Management Division and the head of SM Entertainment's Media Planning Division.

Over the past 6 years, he spearheaded SM Entertainment affiliates and held the CEO position at SM C&C from 2017 to the first half of this year. His active involvement supported the endeavors of affiliated artists.

Big Planet Made Entertainment is gearing up to make a global impact. Recently, Cha Ga Won, the chairman of Parc Group, assumed the role of the new major shareholder. They further expanded their reach through the acquisition of Million Market.

An official remarked, "With this acquisition, we've not only strengthened our position in K-pop but also bolstered our competitiveness in the broader K-content industry." They urged, "Witness the synergy between Big Planet Made Entertainment and CEO Kim Dong Jun."
