Singer and actor Rain donated 100 million Won to the Community Chest of Korea.

On November 10, Rain donated 100 million Won ($75,787.16 USD) to the nonprofit organization Community Chest of Korea in Jung-gu, Seoul. Chairman Kim Byung Joon as well as secretary general Hwang In Sik are reported to have attended the donation ceremony.

Rain previously participated as an advertising model for the 'Sharing Platform Plus to Me' campaign that's been on-air since September, delivering the message, "Valuing myself with donations, valuing the world with donations."

The relationship between Community Chest of Korea and Rain began in 2004 when he began donating and participating in the organization's campaigns. Additionally, Rain donated 100 million won to aid children and adolescents in need in May of last year.
