On October 18, at a special press conference for the premiere of the Netflix original series 'Doona!', a music video for the song "Sweet Dream", by the fiction in-drama girl group Dream Sweet, was unveiled for the first time.
'Doona!' tells the love story of an ordinary university student, Won Jun (Yang Se Jong), who becomes housemates with a retired female K-Pop idol, Lee Doona (Suzy). Thus, in the story, Lee Doona is the former "center" member of the girl group Dream Sweet.
To give life to the character of Lee Doona, the drama brought to life her former group Dream Sweet with a surprising lineup of members, including Rian and Simeez of the dance crew La Chica, singer Janet Suhh, and actress Go Ah Sung, who makes a special appearance in the drama.
While many fans were already excited to see Suzy playing the role of an idol "center" in 'Doona!', they weren't quite expecting the girl group Dream Sweet to be good. So it came as a big surprise when alongside Suzy, actress Go Ah Sung also captured attention in the "Sweet Dream" MV, as if she'd been an experienced idol all along!
Many left comments like, "Go Ah Sung would be my bias", "She looks like Yeri!", "If a real girl group existed with Suzy and Go Ah Sung as its members...", "The idol styling suits her soooooo well", "She doesn't lose out next to Suzy!", "She could be a member of GOT the Beat with those moves", "As an idol, she's like a mix of Hyoyeon, Yeri, and Eunchae", and more.
Meanwhile, 'Doona!' premieres on Netflix on October 20!
Suzy in pure white, with all the other members in black or mixed. Also getting full solo camera shots even if someone else is singing.
