Actress Jin Ye Sol has recently found herself in the midst of controversy as she was discovered drunk driving. It was previously reported that on June 12 KST, Jin Ye Sol was reported to the police after running into a guardrail twice while driving in Seoul. Her breathalyzer test showed her blood alcohol level to be at the level for license revocation.

Korean citizens view drunk driving very harshly especially as there are plenty of resources available for people to return home safely without having to drive. So even as the actress posted a public apology on her social media, netizens have not been forgiving. 

Many netizens left scathing comments on the actress's Instagram, saying,

"I see you were caught in my neighborhood...I'm a father to a five-year-old child...It gives me chills to think about a drunk driver like you driving around on the same roads we frequently use...I don't think I can ever forgive drunk driving...I hope you never have such a public job or have a public platform again."

"What should you have judged more carefully when you were drinking and driving? hahaha Were you carefully judging whether you should drive or not?"

"You should have written exactly what you did wrong. Was writing the words 'drunk driving' so shameful?"

"Drunk driving. And seeing comments that say that drunk driving accidents are a mistake...how amazing. I applaud you."

"You completely left out the fact that you drove drunk~ haha."

"It feels like this wasn't the first time drunk driving...If she didn't get caught this time, she definitely would have continued to drink and drive."

"You're digging your own grave so don't expect any amount of sympathy and live your life reflecting on your actions~"

"It would have been better to call a driver. Why would she even come out and drink and drive."
