GBK Entertainment is being accused of digitally altering images of their recently revealed prospective MEP-C members by using AI-generated body figures.
The accusations were brought to light when nugupromoter shared the "Busted" concept photo of debut candidates Kkekke, Solmi, and Hara on Twitter. The response from social media users was critical, with many claiming that the extent of the editing was excessive.
GBK is also facing criticism for labeling its members as "BUSTED" in reference to their progression into the next stage of their training process. This controversial term is used when announcing members who have made it to this stage, with fans then voting to determine who will join MEP-C as additional members receive the "BUSTED" status.
They didn't even do a good job of it. As a graphic designer I think AI can be useful sometimes but the results are never flawless, and even in the picture you can clearly spot a mistake that the AI has done. It generated this weird thing at the bottom of the shoes, and the headpieces look weird, I doubt those are actual hats/hairclips.

This is not good anyway you look at it. Their legs alone are the legs of someone extremely malnourished. Even if it’s fake/busted/AI. It’s not something that should be pushed onto young, impressionable fans that they need to aspire to. These fake & underweight bodies are not real. Not healthy. Impossible proportions that in most cases can only be achieved by restricting your intake and sometimes surgery. Impossible standards to achieve. Also, we should think about what this does to these young artists. The stress it puts them under to feel that they need to do whatever they can to actually look like this for their company, fans, etc. These standards are ridiculous. Whether it’s fake or not isn’t my point. It’s wrong. Just my opinion.
