BTS's Jimin is continuing to see success in Japan.
According to media reports on June 4 KST, his 'Fast X' OST single "Angel Pt. 1," also featuring NLE Choppa, Kodak Black, JVKE, and Muni Long, reached #88 on Billboard Japan's main singles chart Hot 100.
"Angel Pt. 1" is the fifth Jimin song to enter the Hot 100, alongside "Like Crazy," "Set Me Free Pt. 2," Taeyang collaboration single "VIBE," and the 'Our Blues' OST single "With You" also featuring Ha Sung Woon. Jimin already made history as the first Asian solo singer to successfully chart four songs on both the U.S. Billboard's Hot 100 and the U.K.'s Official Singles chart in the shortest period of time (four months), but now he has also set the same record in Japan.
Meanwhile, Jimin's solo album 'FACE' ranked #26 on Oricon's Western Album chart and continues to be popular even in its ninth week of release, and ranked #8 on Oricon's real-time annual chart with sales of 241,282 copies, making it the highest-selling album from a Korean solo artist in Japan's history.
