'Extreme Debut: Wild Idol' was an MBC boy group reality survival audition program from 2021. A total of 45 contestants participated in the show. Along with their abilities in singing, dancing, and rapping, candidates were also evaluated based on their physical and mental strengths. The seven finalists made their debut officially as ‘TAN’ (To All Nations) on March 10, 2022.
'Boys Planet' is an ongoing boy group reality survival show produced by Mnet in order to form a global K-pop boy group. It features 93 male trainees as contestants. Let’s take a look at the four Boys Planet contestants who previously participated in the survival program Wild Idol.
Park Gun Wook
Park Gun Wook is a Jellyfish Entertainment trainee and lyricist who is currently competing on "Boys Planet." He ranked tenth in the first round of elimination on episode 5 of the show. He was revealed as the 16th contestant on "Wild Idol" in 2021. He was praised for his rap skills and advanced to the show's final episode; however, he was eliminated there and was unable to join TAN.
Na Du Bin
Na Du Bin, also known as Na Kamden, is an American trainee under FNC Entertainment. He was introduced as the 14th participant of "Wild Idol." Du Bin was eliminated from the show in the third episode. He was revealed as a contestant on "Boys Planet" in December last year under his English name, Na Kamden. He was placed 31st in the fifth episode and survived the first elimination round.
Choi Ji Ho
Choi Ji Ho is a South Korean trainee under FNC Entertainment. This K-Group contestant from “Boys Planet” was eliminated in the fifth episode of the show after ranking 55th place. In 2021, he was introduced on “Wild Idol” as the 43rd contestant. However, he was eliminated in the third episode and was unable to advance in the show.
Jang Yeo Jun
Jang Yeo Jun is a trainee from South Korea who is under the management of Jellyfish Entertainment. He was introduced as the 36th participant on "Wild Idol." He was eliminated in the third episode of the show. Yeo Jun, a K-Group contestant on “Boys Planet,” ranked 62nd place in episode five and was eliminated from the show.
