Following the announcement that Brave Girls will officially conclude their seven years of activities and disband, Minyoung took to the group's fansite to assure fans Brave Girls will reunite in the future.
Minyoung wrote on the fan platform on February 16, "We are not disbanding. The four members are willing to be together." She continued, "The contract with the label just expired and we are still the same. Fearless (name of fandom), you've worked hard too, despite the frustrations you must have gone through."
Minyoung continued to assure fans that the group will reunite in the future and wrote, "We believe that this is not the end so we are going to put forth the effort to create more happiness in the future. Please continue to support us and please don't be sad when listening to the song."
On this day, Brave Entertainment announced that the exclusive contracts with Brave Girls members have come to an end. The agency announced, "After a long and thorough discussion, Brave Entertainment and Brave Girls agreed to a beautiful farewell. The members intend on cheering one another on deep in their hearts and will repay fans for their love soon in their respective places."
Meanwhile, Brave Girls debuted back in 2011 as a six-member girl group but went through a reformation in 2016 as a four-member group.
During the period of their promotion, they were not able to garner much attention or popularity until their 2017 song "Rollin'" went viral on YouTube bringing the girls back into the light.
Unfortunately, the label was unable to make use of the popularity the girls gained after five years and decided to end their activities, leaving fans disappointed.
I feel like the least Brave Brothers could do is letting them keep the name after botching the once in a lifetime opportunity. Again, I'm happy they got their moment in the spotlight but still sad to see them go nonetheless, especially since the music throughout their ENTIRE career was always incredible.
