2PM's Junho and Girls' Generation's YoonA, sent a special Valentine's Day gift to fans eagerly awaiting their drama.
JTBC's new drama 'King the Land' will be broadcast for the first time in 2023, and is a story about a man who despises smiling (Junho) and a "smile queen" who can't help but to smile (Yoona). The story will unfold in the setting of VVIP lounges run by elite hoteliers.
Lee Junho (who plays Guwon) and YoonA (who plays Chun Sa Rang) have already created legendary collaborations on stage several times in the past and demonstrated their top-notch chemistry. The pair initially teased their pairing when Junho posted a photo the pair took together at MBC's Gayo Daejejeon in late 2021 playfully depicting Junho's drama at the time, 'The Red Sleeve'.
To gift fans who are waiting in anticipation for the new drama, 'King the Land' released a photo for the first time that gives us a glimpse of their characters.
'King the Land' will broadcast sometime in 2023.
I miss and like the great sexy, genius, powerful singer-rapper-dancer YOONA more than actress yoona in kdrama. As a kpop artist YoonA could have done and created so many wonderful and extraordinary pieces of art, she could do it because she is a genius k-pop artist, ... while as an actress in kdrama she only submits to the role created by some writer, and sometimes the writer is bad n lazy
I usually don't like k-dramas because almost all of them have that chauvinist/macho style (plot+scripts), where actresses are usually cast in secondary roles or co-stars without good scripts, with almost fragile personalities and dependent on a man.🤦♂️
So I am not excited to see this new k-drama, but I will try to see it because of YoonA's great acting, and also to see how Junho's acting is, and their chemistry tgt. They both are talented n good friends, I hope this new kdrama's plot is different, interesting, good and the scripts are excellent and creative👍, but if this is another macho/chauvinist K-drama with bland scripts👎 I'll let it see it, sorry!~
