While actor Kim Dong Hee is gearing up to return to the limelight after admitting his bullying controversy, his past post on the class bulletin board on BAND resurfaced. 

Previously, Kim Dong Hee became wrapped up in a school bullying controversy in early 2021. The actor was accused of bullying a disabled classmate during his 5th year of elementary school. Then, a year later, in January 2022, Kim Dong Hee delivered a formal apology, admitting that he was involved in conflict with a classmate in 5th grade and that he faced the consequences from his school and from his family afterward. While Kim Dong Hee admitted beating the accuser, pushing him and kicking his chest, Kim Dong Hee contended the accuser disproportionately exaggerated as he had never threatened him with scissors or a box cutter. 

On January 5th, Kim Dong Hee returned to Instagram for the first time in approximately two years, sharing his new profile photos. On January 7th, netizens shared his past post on the class bulletin board on BAND when he was in middle school. BAND is a social media app widely used in schools in South Korea. 

In his post initially posted back on May 20th, 2014, around 11 PM, Kim Dong Hee wrote, "Teacher, I'm notifying on BAND because I think I'm going to be really late for school tomorrow. The reason for my tardiness is that I'm going home right now after going to Lotte World (i.e., a theme park in Seoul). I'm very tired due to muscle aches all over my body. And I'm also dizzy because I was on many rides. I'll fall asleep as soon as I take a shower and lay in bed, but it's virtually impossible to wake up at 7 the next morning, given my mental and physical state right now. So I'm going to be late tomorrow. I believe teacher Jung Yoon Hee, who has both a beautiful face and mind, will understand me. I'll try my best to be there as fast as possible." 

Netizens criticized his attitude, saying the post showed how little respect he had for the school and his teacher. "I can see he is acting like that because he did not respect his female teacher."
