BIGBANG is one of the most legendary K-pop groups in history under YG Entertainment. On April 4, BIGBANG released the digital single track “Still Life” along with its music video, making their long-awaited comeback to the music industry after four years of hiatus. This was one of the most anticipated comebacks in K-pop. This year, all three members of BIGBANG’s “Hyung line” made individual cover appearances for various magazines in addition to their comebacks.

Choi Seung-Hyun (T.O.P)

Choi Seung-Hyun, better known by his stage name, T.O.P., is the oldest member and a rapper of BIGBANG. He appeared on a magazine’s cover for the first time after a long time. The March issue of PRESTIGE Hong Kong features a cover featuring T.O.P., who has been out of the public eye for five years. In his interview with PRESTIGE Hong Kong, he discussed the arts and how he gets inspired by them, his life in the past five years, and how music helped him get through difficult times. Here he also talked about BIGBANG, his upcoming solo album, his wine label, and his own entertainment company.

Last month, it was revealed that T.O.P. will be among the eight people joining Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa as a crew member on the “dearMoon” mission next year. This project is the first all-civilian mission to the moon. 

Dong Young-Bae (Taeyang)

The second-oldest member of BIGBANG, Dong Young-Bae, is the main vocalist of the group. He is widely known by his stage name, Taeyang, which means sun in Korean. He was on the cover of a special edition of the magazine "Marie Claire" for the "KIAF Seoul 2022." On September 2, his images, along with an interview, were shared by Marie Claire, which received a lot of attention from his fans. He was seen as a cover star after more than two years. In the interview, he discussed his life as well as his thoughts on art and beauty. Additionally, he also spoke in the interview about his wife and child.

Meanwhile, it was recently disclosed that Taeyang switched his company from YG Entertainment to The Black Label. He is also rumored to make a solo comeback early next year. According to reports, BTS's Jimin will be featured in the upcoming album.

Kwon Ji-Yong (G-Dragon)

Dubbed the King of K-pop, Kwon Ji-Yong, aka G-Dragon, is a rapper and the leader of BIGBANG. Soon after completing his required military service, GD was featured on the covers of numerous magazines. In 2022, he appeared on the covers of two magazines, Vogue and Elle. GD enchanted his fans with his appearances in the July 2022 issue of Vogue Korea and Taiwan. On June 13, pictures of GD’s cover were shared by Vogue, which left the fans astounded. Along with this, he was featured on the cover of Elle magazine's 30th Anniversary issue, which was published in November 2022. G-Dragon wore selected looks from CHANEL for the covers of both magazines.

However, G-Dragon is also rumored to make a solo comeback next year. He can be seen posting pictures of himself in the gym on his Instagram account from time to time. Fans believe he is gearing up for his comeback.
