OMEGA X members will be holding a press conference with their lawyers present.
According to media reports on November 14th, the members will be opening up for the first time in public following their CEO's mistreatment of the group during their recent U.S. tour. The press conference will be held on November 16th at 2 PM KST with members' lawyers present.
The controversy started when a video showing a woman being verbally and physically abusive at the idol group on the street went viral. Further investigations revealed that the woman was the CEO of the agency, and it was also revealed the members had to use their personal funds to find tickets back to Korea from their LA tour.
With the controversy heightening and criticisms against the CEO increasing, Spire Entertainment stated that they have taken full responsibility for what went on and added that the female CEO involved has resigned from her position. Nevertheless, fans could not help but be skeptical of the CEO resigning from the agency because her husband is the chairman.
Stay tuned for updates.
I really hope their case has a happy ending. I'm not even a fan and yet I'm desperate for these boys to be able to continue to pursue their dreams, free of mistreatment.
