2022 has been the year of the girl groups, with many powerful rookie female idol groups making their debut in the K-pop industry. Just this year alone, rookie idol groups such as IVE, NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, and more are quickly rising to the top and have taken over music charts all over the world.
Now, there are just about two months left of 2022, and 2023 is just around the corner. With a new year, there is new excitement rolling in. For K-pop fans, it's new idol groups that are lined up for debut.
Major entertainment agencies have already made announcements of their future plans and have revealed the idol groups that the agencies are preparing to launch in 2023. Most of the agencies are preparing to launch male idol groups in the coming year, increasing the anticipation of K-pop fans.
So here are the major agencies and the male idol groups that are being prepared.

2. JYP Entertainment
- Trainees from the survival program 'LOUD' and new trainees

3. Big Hit Music
- Trainee A group that is active on YouTube

- New boy group (still unrevealed)

6. Fantagio
- According to accounts from people in the know, the group will soon be debuting and includes Noh Sung Chul, who was on 'I-LAND' before
7. KOZ Entertainment
- First male idol group from Zico's agency
8. KQ Entertainment
- ATEEZ's agency, already revealed their trainees
9. MNH Entertainment
- Chung Ha's agency

Additionally, the 'Boy Planet' survival show is planning to launch in 2023 as well.
K-netizens are excited about all the boy groups that will debut next year and commented, "KQ trainees, I hope they succeed," "It's going to be so fun with new male idols debuting and the existing boy groups making a comeback," "I'm really looking forward to KOZ's group," "I think there are three groups being launched by HYBE next year," "I'm looking forward to Pledis' boy group," "What about YG?," and "Next year is going to be the year of the boy groups."
YG should not debut a boy group yet. Focus on Treasure since they have not maximize their potential. All of their songs are bop, it's just that YG's promotion sucks.
