'Butter' becomes BTS's 2nd song to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify

BTS's "Butter" has reached a new huge milestone on Spotify!

According to Spotify's most recent update on October 12 KST, BTS's "Butter" officially racked up over 1 billion cumulative streams on the platform. Released on May 21, 2021 as the global boy band's second English-language single, "Butter" has surpassed 1 billion total streams one year and four months later.

"Butter" has become BTS's second song to reach the milestone on Spotify after the group's first full English-language single, "Dynamite". In addition, "Butter" and "Dynamite" are the only songs by a K-Pop act to hit a whopping 1 billion streams on the platform.
