Being an avid fan of basketball, SUGA's stage name is even from the nickname he earned while playing basketball as the "Shooting Guard."

Many fans are already well aware that BTS's SUGA is a long-time fan of basketball and even would attend games during his break.

Recently, SUGA shared a photo on his Instagram as well as BTS's official Twitter account showing him holding up a jersey from the Golden State Warriors. In the photo, the BTS member is seen holding up a custom Warriors jersey with his stage name and the number 3, which typically belongs to basketball player Jordan Poole.

The post quickly got millions of likes garnering much attention from fans and even Stephen Curry, the point guard of the Golden State Warriors. On September 27, the professional basketball player responded to the BTS tweet showing the photo and responded, "Love the jersey SUGA!! See you soon."

The Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards will have special exhibition matches in Tokyo, and Suga will attend as a special guest.

Meanwhile, SUGA previously expressed that his favorite player is Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers. In response, SUGA's favorite basketball player sent the global K-pop artist a message expressing his appreciation.
