On August 27, global girl group BLACKPINK's music video for "Pink Venom" exceeded 200 million views on YouTube. Released on August 19, the music video hit the milestone seven days and 13 hours after its release, the second fastest music video by a female group to reach the mark, just behind the group's own "How You Like That".
In addition, "Pink Venom" is the fastest music video released in 2022 by a K-Pop act to surpass the 200 million view count. "Pink Venom" has become BLACKPINK's 11th music video to reach the mark, after "BOOMBAYAH", "Whistle", "Playing With Fire", "Stay", "As If It's Your Last", "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du", "Kill This Love", "How You Like That", "Ice Cream (with Selena Gomez)", and "Lovesick Girls".
Meanwhile, "Pink Venom" is a pre-release track from the group's upcoming second full-length album 'Born Pink', which is slated for release next month.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
You can’t deny that’s damn impressive! Imagine the view count if the song was actually good!
