Global girl group BLACKPINK have started to break records left and right with their anticipated comeback!

On August 19 KST, a few hours after the release of BLACKPINK's long-awaited comeback with a new song, "Pink Venom" immediately rose to the top of charts worldwide, including domestic and international music charts.

Not only is BLACKPINK currently doing well on domestic charts but also on iTunes charts! As of 10 PM KST, "Pink Venom" reached the top spot on the UK iTunes 'Top Songs' chart, setting a new impressive record for the group. With this, "Pink Venom" has become the group's first-ever song to hit #1 on the UK iTunes song chart as well as the first among K-Pop girl groups to do so.

Back in 2019, BLACKPINK's mini-album 'Kill This Love' became the first album by a K-Pop girl group to reach #1 on UK iTunes 'Top Albums' chart. The group's 'THE ALBUM' also peaked at #1, meaning, BLACKPINK have become the first-ever K-Pop female group in history to hit #1 on both song and album charts of UK iTunes.

Meanwhile, "Pink Venom" is the pre-release single of the group's upcoming second studio album 'Born Pink'.
