SHINee's Taemin debuted when he was 16 years old. BTS's Jungkook debuted when he was 17-years old.
But did you know that these K-Pop idols debuted in the music scene at just 15-years old (14-years old in international age)?

Literal children debuting in the entertainment industry is problematic by itself. Add on to that the extreme work conditions with notoriously exploitative contracts particular to idols and it really makes you wonder, why is the general Korean populace okay with this?
Also, I'm pretty sure BoA and Jinsol weren't even 14 (international age) by the time they debuted. Pure insanity.
