Korean media just recently published an article about Jimin as an individual artist, terming him as the BTS member whose solo songs are popular and have maintained steady popularity over the years around the world [read here]. The impact of his solo music and his potential as an individual artist have been recognized and acknowledged for a long time now, even without an official solo debut. Beginning from the release of 'Lie' back in 2016 as his first solo track under the group's name, Jimin has consistently and impressively showcased his capabilities and proven himself to be a force to reckon with in the industry. Industry professionals and fellow senior idols constantly praise him and show their respect and admiration for him, whereas the younger idols are always naming him as their role model.

Just as his artistry is exalted time and again, his solo songs reach new historic milestones every other day, proving why he deserves and has earned all these praises and titles. This time on another major music platform, YouTube, Jimin has set yet another historic record. 'Filter' official audio track surpassed 100 million streams on the platform, making it the first and only official audio by a Korean soloist as well as the first and only unpromoted Korean song to reach this milestone. In effect, Jimin became the first and only Korean soloist to have an official audio track surpassing 100M streams on the platform. It is BTS' first B-side official audio and third song overall to reach this feat.
